Configuring the card readers​

If you have purchased a ticket dispenser with a built-in card reader you should create and configure it here. You can add one anytime filling the required fields after pressing "+ New" button.

Parameters​

Common​

ID​

The ID is given by the system and is required for internal processes, and can serve purposes for debugging in case of issues.

Device type​

The type of the card reader.

Name​

The Name is a user-given name.

Device controller​

Determines which device controller is handling the card reader.

Status​

Active/Inactive switch to determine if the device should be used in any service.

Client ID​

It is filled be the server, do not modify it.

Serial port​

The number of the COM port.

Card Reader Functions​

  • Ping: to check if your device is online on your network.
