Setting device ID
In case of the keyboards, you can set their ID, by pressing and holding the “Close” button, while you connect its cable. The “Adr” text and the current ID should appear. Press the “Close” button again to set the new ID. The Id is adjustable between 1 and 16. Save the ID with the “Next” button.
Handling
By pushing the buttons on this unit the clerk can switch on/off the keyboard and
handle the customers.
Switch on/off:
- When the keyboard is off, the 3-digit display shows: OFF
- To switch it on: Press and hold down the „CLOSE” button for 4 seconds, when
the display will show: —, release the button. - To switch it off: Press and hold down the „CLOSE” button for 4 seconds, when
the display will show: OFF, release the button.
Handling:
- To call the next customer: Press the „NEXT” button.
- If a customer is waiting, the display will show the number of the customer’s ticket blinking for 10 seconds. After that the blinking stops automatically and the number of the customer’s ticket remains on the display.
If there is no customer waiting, on the display two short lines will run around. At this stage the counter is in an automatic calling mode. To stop this mode, press the „CLOSE” button.
When a new customer takes a ticket, the running of the short lines will stop and the system immediately calls this customer to that counter and the display will show the number of the customer’s ticket (in case the clerk has authority to make that chosen task).
Note: If more than one counter is in the automatic calling mode, the system will allocate the customer in a random way.
- If the number of the ticket is appearing on the display, but no customer arrived at the counter, the clerk should call the customer again by pressing the „NEXT” button.
- If the customer has arrived the arranging of the service can start.
- When the service was arranged, or the customer did not arrived after several repeated calls, the clerk should close this job by pushing the „CLOSE” button. The number of the customer’s ticket disappears from the display and the counter is ready to call the next customer (the display on the keyboard will show: —).
